Weapons are equipped to Heroes and used to fight Monsters. Each hero can hold one weapon at a time. Weapons have stats for Attack and Luck. Attack increases your heroes damage against monsters, and Luck increases the chance to score a critical hit.
There are three types of weapons: Melee, Ranged, and Magic. Melee weapons are most commonly swords, axes and clubs. Most weapons are melee weapons. Ranged weapons tend to be bows. Wands and staffs are the most common types of magic weapons.
Some monsters are immune to one weapon type, and take significantly reduced damage from that type. To damage monsters with immunity, use a weapon of a different type than what a monster is immune to. For example, if a monster is immune to a Melee attack, equip Heroes with either Ranged and Magic weapons to do damage.
There are five different tiers of weapons, each with its own price, that can be purchased at random from the Heroes Menu. There are also specialty weapons which can only be collected by killing monsters or completing quests.

Some weapons are listed as "Rare" in the shop. All rare weapons have higher stats than other weapons in the same tier, almost as good as the next higher tier.
Some weapons can only be found as rewards for completing quests or by defeating monsters and getting a random loot item. These random loot weapons range in normal stat-quality from starter weapon (TIER 1) quality up to legendary weapon (TIER 3) quality.
Each weapon has a base XP at level 1. You can upgrade a weapon by fusing another weapon to it, but in the process destroying the other weapon. Fusing a weapon will add 75% (rounded up) of the destroyed weapon's XP to the original weapon's XP. The XP of the weapon after fusing is cumulative. The level of the weapon is calculated from its XP.
