Shields

Shields are defensive Equipment you can give to Heroes. These items reduce the damage done by Monsters. A hero can only have one shield equipped at a time, or no shield at all.

Shields increase the Hero Stats Defense, which reduces the damage heroes take from monster attacks, and Luck, which increases heroes' chances to score critical hits.

There are five different tiers of Shields, each with its own price, that can be purchased at random from the Heroes Menu.

Rarity

Shields marked as "Rare" have higher stats than other shields in the same tier, almost as good as the next higher tier.

Upgrading Shields

Each shield has a base XP at level 1. You can upgrade a shield by fusing another shield to it, but in the process destroying the other shield. Fusing a shield will add 75% (rounded up) of the destroyed shield's XP to the original shield's XP. The XP of the shield after fusing is cumulative. The level of the shield is calculated from its XP.

The base XP at level 1 and the XP requirements to upgrade each tier of shields to each level are shown below.
